Beeville Art Museum

VOLUNTEER AND INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Museum places special emphasis on educational programs and activities designed to stimulate the imaginations of young people.  By offering an internship, the Museum helps to fulfill its goal and give young people interested in the arts the priceless gift of experience.  No matter what field the intern ultimately decides to go into, the skills learned while interning at the Beeville Art Museum will prove useful.  It is a valuable experience to be in a real work environment and learn first hand about some of the different careers that are available.  Interns can discover new talents, as well as improve on weaknesses.  Our goal is to give the youth of the community the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge through an internship in order to broaden their horizons and further themselves and their educational experience
.

We always need volunteers.  Do you have a special talent for event planning?  We can use your skills in setting up for exhibition opening receptions.  Do you take great photographs?  Take photos during Museum events for our scrapbook or web-site!  Do you like organizing or office-type work?  Help us print, fold, sort and mail our newsletters or help with other Museum mailouts.  Are you super friendly and helpful?  Be a greeter and make Museum visitors feel at home right when they walk in our doors!  Any other talents?  Please contact Mary Villanueva at Museum and tell us all about your interests or how you think you can help us bring art to our community!
