CELEBRATES 10 YEARS
OF ART & EDUCATION WITH GROUP SHOW
Artists Honored in Anniversary Exhibition
In celebration of
its 10th anniversary, the Beeville Art Museum is hosting an
exhibition of artists whose works it has highlighted in the past. Approximately thirty artists, including
painters, watercolorists, printmakers, sculptors, photographers, and
installation artists will each have a representative piece on view from January
15 through April 18, 2011.
The exhibition, entitled, Beeville Art Museum: Celebrating 10 Years of Art and Education,
will feature works by the following artists: The Art Guys (Michael Galbreth and Jack Massing), Bobbye
Bennett, Ellen Berman, Robert Blackmon, Brad Braune, Keith Carter, Danville
Chadbourne, Ray Donley, Carol Fleming, Alberto Godoy, Scott Gordon, Barbel
Helmert, George Krause, Lance Letscher, Lee Littlefield, Anstis Lundy, Bernard
Mattox, Marlene Matalon, Herb Mears, Kermit Oliver, Rosane Volchan O’Conor,
Elizabeth Payne, Charles Pebworth, Jaro Poncar, Angel Rodriguez-Diaz, Reginald
Rowe, Richard Stout, Gary Taylor, Arthur Turner, Robert Weimerskirch, Bill
Wittliff, and Geoff Winningham.
The opening for
Beeville Art Museum: Celebrating
10 Years of Art and Education is scheduled for Saturday, January 15, 1 –
3:00 p.m., open to the public, free of charge.
Many of the artists will be present at the event.
