Opening Reception
William Anzalone: A Texas Icon
Join us this Saturday, January 17th for the opening reception of William Anzalone: A Texas Icon - a powerful exhibition showcases 55 years of work by a legendary Texas artist.
The reception is from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm with live music and refreshments.
BAM-BISD Art Contest
January 17 - March 28, 2026
This annual exhibit showcases original artworks created by students currently enrolled in art classes at Moreno Junior High and A.C. Jones High School. Each school's art teachers selects and submits 15 pieces, resulting in a total of 60 works for judging. Each winner will receive a set of art supplies.
Roland “Ronnie” Ramirez is the juror for the 2026 BAM-BISD Art Contest. Mr. Ramirez was born and raised in Beeville, and graduated from A.C. Jones High School. Mr. Ramirez has traveled internationally through Western, Central, and Eastern Europe, as well as the Americas. Drawing on his experience and years of engaging with art across cultures, he offers a knowledgeable and perceptive voice in the selection process.
Awards Ceremony - January 17 at 12:30 pm
People’s Choice Award - Visitors are invited to vote for their favorite pieces through March 27th. Winner to be announced via social media on March 27th!
