Reflections in Nature: Works by Ele Chew and Frank Klein

As the seasons change, so does the latest Beeville Art Museum (BAM) exhibit. Discover the works of Ele Chew and Frank Klein as they exhibit their wide range of works during their show, entitled “Reflections in Nature,” running Sept. 19 through Dec. 12, 2026.

“We hope visitors connect with the pieces we have chosen to exhibit from both Ele Chew and Frank Klein,” BAM Director Tracy Saucier said. “These artists uniquely capture nature, pulling you into the subject matter, whether it be a bird of prey or the tiniest insect. You’ll be moved by the subject matter and how each piece lures you in.”

Ele Chew, who was a senior scientist and researcher, now operates a live-work studio in a converted historical lumberyard space in Cuero, Texas. As a Mid-Coast Texas Master Naturalist, she has learned to observe and appreciate nature's beauty. Her love of the natural environment shines through in her vibrant fused glass pieces alongside documentary-style regional photography and watercolor paintings.

Frank Klein is a fourth-generation rancher and conservationist from Yorktown, Texas, whose interest in photography began during vacations and grew into capturing Texas wildlife, insects, and landscapes.
