Portraiture is one of the most enduring art forms. It captures the essence of the individual and serves not only as a visual record but as a reflection of identity, culture, and history, preserving stories of people well beyond their years. Through diverse and evolving styles and mediums, these portraits bridge the past with the present, offering insight into how people define themselves and how they hope to be remembered.“Each artist offers a unique take on portraiture,” BAM Director Tracy Saucier said. “With this multi-artist exhibit, visitors can enjoy diverse perspectives on the human form and discover the styles that resonate most with them.”
